Healing and creation spaces for people bereaved by Suicide. A donation based platform created by Coral in memory of her nan Carole.
In February 2023 my nan Carole died from Suicide. My nan was my muse growing up and she inspired my love for art, nature, creative expression and so much more. She showed me it's okay to be different and to shine light in our world. It wasn't until I became older that I realised just how much of a role model she was for me.
Her suicide was a pinpoint in my life that led me to where I am now, who I am, what I do. I'm a psychic & Astrology reader, Energy Healer, Meditation teacher, Sound Healer with wonderful experience for facilitating healing spaces, classes, events, retreats and workshops. Through my own healing journey and experience of holding spaces teamed up with my deep love for community, art, nature, music and more...
I want to create and hold different spaces / activities for people who have also experienced the death of a loved from Suicide. I want to welcome people to a space where it doesn't feel dark, it doesn't feel heavy but feels freeing, healing and deeply loving.
Different spaces so there is something for everyone. A place that we can talk freely about our loved ones. I have witnessed there is still such a stigma on being able to discuss a loved one passing from Suicide. I don't want people to carry this weight any more.
I want you to feel welcomed and provide you with a space that we can deeply heal, laugh, cry and make new connections, friends and memories that fill our hearts with joy.
A space where something beautiful can be created from experiencing something profoundly heart breaking.
I want to offer my hand to you in this space and show you it's okay, please feel no guilt. I'm a safe space and I want to welcome you into a journey of further happiness and through this our loved ones energy lives through the laughs we share, through the steps we take and through joy in making new friendships that heal our hearts.
The Locket Project is a creation from me and all the activities, spaces and love that are created is the art of my nan's soul. This is for my nan Carole. A shining Leo with a deep love for the sun, this is her shining her light for you.
The Locket Project is a donation based platform. I will be aiming for funding too but these things take time. I want the spaces to be available for anyone who has lost someone to Suicide. We live in a tough world with finances and not everyone is in a position to pay.
I have a big vision for this project, I want to create spaces that open core loving memories within our hearts. I'm thinking Meditation sessions, Sound Healing, Nature workshops, Music events, Wellbeing walks, Weekend retreats, Art activities, the list goes on. For me to create these spaces I need help from you to cover costs of venue hires, activity costs, Food & Drinks, travel expenses and more.
Any other form of donation help I would be super grateful too. Maybe you are a facilitator or teacher yourself willing to donate a session for an event. Maybe you are a business owner who provides jewellery making, pottery classes, rug turfing... I am open to anything that you would be able to offer. I want to create different spaces so that there is something for everyone.
